dear mother, i spent $437 today...

mother, $437 was very unexpected expense for me...
what did i use it for?
maybe for this view...
view from dr. ogawa, my dentist's office.

i was there to change the filling that i got done in japan about 25 years ago.
while doctor was working on the filling, she kept talking about how the view from the office is really nice...
really, after my seats went down, all i saw was her arm and boobs...

i never knew my mouth can open so wide.
she put about 4 different things in my mouth to keep it open.
check out the huge metal on top right.
i don't even know what that was for...

few minutes before this photo, believe it or not, i was a sleep for about 10 minutes or so.
maybe part of $437 is for relaxation?

or to clean all these tools that was used to make my cheek swelled up!

mother, this was very unexpected expense...

happy moment

after having 1 or 2 or 3 or 4??? drinks with old boss and co-workers in city, i successfully came home with pegasus by bart.

going through usual procedure, checking mail box, looking for more bill...
but tonight, instead of just bills, i got precious thank you letter from precious friend!
this was the happiest moment!!! thank you~ :)

so proud!!!

my long time friend (since 7th grade!) has been into making bagels.

she loves it so much, she started to sell her bagel at local bakery in suzuka, where we grew up!
i am so proud of you!
i can't wait to try them... especially the purple one!

dream hair... long way to go.

it is my dream to have big afro done by cheap place.

best one ever is at ranch 99 by central ave.
i asked for lightest bleach hair that they can do, keeping the max curl i had at that time.
but i went home with dark brown straight hair...

because i can not say "i don't like what you are doing", for this time, nekomusume has found perfect picture to describe what i am looking for.

she is right. this white poodle has my dream hair.
showed it to "yan" our stylist who just had a baby 3 month ago.

before photo: started at 6:20pm

at 7:45pm
after yan was done half way (black part of my hair) she said "we keep blond straight"
and i thought.....
what? so i will have curl on top, and straight at bottom?
but again, i could not say "don't leave blond straight. please do all!" instead, i said "OK" with smile...

we were told straighting nekomusume's hair will take 3 hours.
she started at 6pm.
by 9pm, we were only 2/3 of the way done.
so, yan gave both of us a dryer, and told us to completely dry it.
and she started to eat her dinner at the counter...

at 9:35pm, yan gave us genmai cha and some cookies.
(and yan just finished big dinner by her self...)

at 9:45pm ish, yan's good looking husband comes in to pick her up.
but we are not done...
so, while yan was working on nekomusume's hair, she put her husband to work.
she was showing him how to take out the rod from my hair.
husband: (with big smile) "my first time!!!"
me: "yes!"

oh, on the back ground, that's good looking husband getting oil treatment...

at 11:10pm, nekomusume is finally done with her hair.
she is super happy.
hair so straight and strong, you can floss with it.

doing good for the body (by others)

i have been thinking really hard about eating healthy for a while.
i though about it so hard, it became reality this morning!

could not come home last night, so stayed at nekomusume's house.
and woke up with this on the table!

something something rice, miso soup, daikon and age something, and tamagoyaki with oroshi next to it. oh, and natto.
all i have to do was just get my body up, and pick up chopsticks!!

and she had super lunch ready to take it with me to work!!!!

this was my happy lunch time!!!

tada~!
i felt so full and satisfied, i just now realized i have not had dinner... but it's ok! i will wish for this to happen again!
oh, but i am at home... all i have is chocolates and alcohols in the house...
