Japan trip / Off to Japan!

We just got back from 2 weeks vacation in Japan.
It was all about meeting great people, visiting wonderful places and eating and eating!

Here we are, from SFO to

Kansai airport.
Nice and humid...
First Kanpai!

Then off to Fukuoka.
My first time in Fukuoka station (I think)
Matt took me around~

Nakasu area is filled with Yatai.

For first night, we had Oden,

Ramen (of course tonkotsu)
surrounded by many other drunken people.
salty food went well with beer~

took some side walks home.
very classic!

Through the Shrine, and ready for more days~

And his mother kept the fish from Twenty some years ago in the freezer...
