Japan trip / Kobe #2

Leaving Kobe...
Need to get Cream pan one more time before we leave...
We went to Comfort□, which is bike shop and coffee shop in one.
They do hand made frames for reasonable price
Cafe on front, and shop on the back
They did not have my size there either...

We all had Tofu Hamburg there.
And that was Matt's last lunch in Japan for this time.
Hop on the bus, and he left with typhoon...

Thanks for great tour guide Matt!

Happy Birthday mom!

this is my mom. not Michael Jackson

Japan trip / Kabosu making

We got these Kabosu for 98yen a bag in Oita!
Took it to Kobe, and made jam.
We decided to follow recipe for the first time...
I looked for super easy and quick recipe, but all of them required over night of soaking skin in the water... so we did.
Next day, chop chop everything
boil everything.
as usual, we stopped following the instruction, and used black sugar...
It's not green, but it's kabosu jam for sure!?
Sweet Katchan
He has bunch of rice growing rice front of the house.
He said it could get handful of rice, if he can beat the birds!
