dream hair... long way to go.

it is my dream to have big afro done by cheap place.

best one ever is at ranch 99 by central ave.
i asked for lightest bleach hair that they can do, keeping the max curl i had at that time.
but i went home with dark brown straight hair...

because i can not say "i don't like what you are doing", for this time, nekomusume has found perfect picture to describe what i am looking for.

she is right. this white poodle has my dream hair.
showed it to "yan" our stylist who just had a baby 3 month ago.

before photo: started at 6:20pm

at 7:45pm
after yan was done half way (black part of my hair) she said "we keep blond straight"
and i thought.....
what? so i will have curl on top, and straight at bottom?
but again, i could not say "don't leave blond straight. please do all!" instead, i said "OK" with smile...

we were told straighting nekomusume's hair will take 3 hours.
she started at 6pm.
by 9pm, we were only 2/3 of the way done.
so, yan gave both of us a dryer, and told us to completely dry it.
and she started to eat her dinner at the counter...

at 9:35pm, yan gave us genmai cha and some cookies.
(and yan just finished big dinner by her self...)

at 9:45pm ish, yan's good looking husband comes in to pick her up.
but we are not done...
so, while yan was working on nekomusume's hair, she put her husband to work.
she was showing him how to take out the rod from my hair.
husband: (with big smile) "my first time!!!"
me: "yes!"

more waiting time.

yan tried. she is really good... but again, no afro...
oh, on the back ground, that's good looking husband getting oil treatment...

at 11:10pm, nekomusume is finally done with her hair.
she is super happy.
hair so straight and strong, you can floss with it.
